College Scholarships

In addition to the number of University-wide scholarships available, the College of Engineering and Computer Science also offer a selection of scholarships for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Scholarships are offered through a competitive process to provide financial assistance to students who can demonstrate exceptional academic performance, or who meet the specific eligibility requirements of the scholarship.

Undergraduate Scholarships

Domestic Students

Scholarship Value Requirements
Research and Development Excellence Scholarship - ACT and surrounding region Up to five scholarships worth $5000 each
  • 99.00+ ATAR
  • Available for Bachelor of Engineering (R&D)(Hons) and Bachelor of Advanced Computing (R&D)(Hons)
  • Applicants must be from the ACT and surrounding region including Queanbeyan, Karabar, Sutton, Bungendore or Murrumbateman or any of the following postcodes: 0200, 2600-2612, 2614-2620, 2900-2914.
Research and Development Excellence Scholarship - Interstate Up to seven scholarships worth $7500 each
  • 99.00+ ATAR
  • Available for Bachelor of Engineering (R&D)(Hons) and Bachelor of Advanced Computing (R&D)(Hons)
  • Applicants must be outside of the ACT and the immediate surrounds (as listed above).
Female Excellence Scholarship Up to two scholarships worth $5000 each
  • 97.00+ ATAR
  • Female applicants only
Advanced Computing Research and Development Female Excellence Scholarship Up to two scholarships worth $5000 each
  • 99.00+ ATAR
  • Female applicants of Bachelor of Advanced Computing (R&D)(Hons)
Engineering Research and Development Female Excellence Scholarship Up to two scholarships worth $5000 each
  • 99.00+ ATAR
  • Female applicants of Bachelor of Engineering (R&D)(Hons)
NICTA Research and Development Scholarships Up to two scholarships worth up to $10,000 each per annum
  • 99.00+ ATAR
  • Available for Bachelor of Advanced Computing (R&D)(Hons) with research undertaken with NICTA research groups (For example: computer vision, machine learning, networks, optimisation and software systems)

International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship - India Up to one scholarship worth 25% of tuition fees (first year)

  • Open to students with an Indian citizenship only
International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship - South-East Asia Up to one scholarship worth 25% of tuition fees (first year)
  • Academic merit
  • Applicants must be citizens of countries in the South-East Asian region only. Students with citizenship to one of the following countries are eligible: Brunei, Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
International University Partnership Award Up to 13 scholarships worth $5000 each
  • Academic merit
  • Open to students from the College's articulation partnership institutions only
